All right, lovelies -- I need an opinion. I have a couple of projects that I started like -- over a decade ago, and I'd really like to finish them for the love of gods if it kills me. And it just may. Part of the problem is the fact that I've lost floss, or -- I think I might have confused a couple of projects. I don't know. So -- to my question. Is the color difference really noticeable? I think it is, but I'm also obsessive like that.

In my mad fit of cleaning/moving, I found a whole bunch of my finished cross stitch projects (some from when I was WAY wee -- like probably 8 and nine up until a few years ago. And some have been started at eight or nine, and then finished recently.) Pieces unwashed and unironed, and mostly unframed. Which will be remedied...eventually. (Will edit with companies that made the pieces once I can find that information.)

So there we are. I am off to experiment with washing them. (I'm a bad girl, I never rinse the thread before I used it. Brainless child? Yes.) |
